Commercial transactions and relationships produce conflicts that can threaten or disrupt business activities. When this occurs, our Commercial Litigation practice group ensures that the interests of our clients are protected.
We represent national companies and established local businesses in a wide range of matters such as:
• contract interpretation and enforcement
• unlawful business practices, such as antitrust, civil fraud, and unfair competition claims
• securities matters for investors, issuers and underwriters
• disputes among owners of closely-held businesses
• libel and First Amendment issues
We recognize the need to handle each case efficiently and cost-effectively. Our senior litigators are experienced trial lawyers and negotiators. They are complemented by a group of talented associates who can provide the extensive support required for complex cases and assume primary responsibility on less complex matters. Many of our trial lawyers also have had experience as Judicial clerks, law school faculty, and presenting continuing education programs. Several of our litigators are civil trial specialists, certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association.

We regularly appear before the American Arbitration Association and are experienced in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution techniques.
